What are we looking for...
We are looking for a talented and highly motivated Legal Manager to support our rapidly growing and evolving business in Italy. The resource will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with broad responsibilities and specialist legal skills in civil and administrative law and on regulatory issues in the energy generation (renewable energy) sector. You will work independently in the drafting of deeds and documents in the procurement field (contracts with suppliers, EPC contracts, surface contracts and land purchases) and will have transversal analytical skills that allow you to enter all the pathological phases of the procedure. Must have negotiation skills and business acumen to deal with diverse functional teams and external stakeholders in a rapidly expanding company.
What would be your responsibilities...
- Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of legal activities.
- Consulting on the Italian regulatory framework on renewable energy/electricity generation.
- Drafting and negotiation of simple and complex contracts such as supplier contracts, EPC contracts, surface and land purchase contracts and other typical contracts used internationally by the renewable energy industry.
- Analysis of general civil and administrative law issues related to the photovoltaic project
- Represent the Legal Department, as required, in liaison with the General Manager and business units.
- Cooperation with other members of the legal department abroad.
- Anticipate and manage the (legal) risks associated with or deriving from corporate strategy and operations.
- Ensure compliance of business operations with applicable laws and regulations.
- Ability to deliver high quality work within deadlines.
What are our requirements...
- Law degree with strong academic credentials.
- Enrollment in the Order of Lawyers
- 4+ years of legal experience in a top tier domestic or international law firm or industry corporation.
- Solid knowledge of general real estate law issues and specific land law issues including the regulatory framework.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in both Italian and English.
- Strong initiative and ability to adapt,
- Empathy, negotiation skills and good communication skills,
- Excellent organizational and deadline management skills.
- Good ability to work in a team and independently, flexibility and problem solving orientation.
- Willingness to travel within the national territory.
