What are we looking for...
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our renewable energy projects. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of renewable energy systems, ensuring they meet regulatory standards, industry best practices, and client requirements. This is a key leadership role, requiring a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and a passion for sustainable energy solutions
What would be your responsibilities...
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical staff in the design, development, and implementation of renewable energy projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, contractors, and stakeholders, to ensure successful execution of renewable energy initiatives.
- Develop and maintain engineering standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to identify suitable locations for renewable energy projects.
- Oversee the design and optimization of renewable energy systems, including wind turbines, solar panels, biomass plants, and energy storage solutions.
- Manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective resource allocation.
- Conduct regular technical reviews and provide guidance on complex engineering issues to ensure project success.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Foster a culture of safety, sustainability, and collaboration within the engineering team, promoting a positive work environment.
What are our requirements...
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, with a focus on renewable energy.
- Proven experience (minimum 4+ years) in engineering roles within the renewables industry.
- Strong technical expertise in renewable energy systems, such as wind, solar, biomass, or energy storage.
- Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to successfully deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to renewable energy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the capacity to identify innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
